We put the “dating” back in “dating app”—no messaging required.
Our game-changing approach
More people are on dating apps today than ever before, yet the majority never go on a single date, often getting stuck in the tedious messaging phase. Our solution? Get rid of messaging so you can get back to what truly matters—going on the date and building the genuine connections you want.
How it works
With Twyned, you don’t have to choose between the ease of a dating app and the magic of old-school dating. Our streamlined approach allows you to plan the date right in the app—all without the hassle of back-and-forth messaging.
01
Our many unique prompts and profile categories are designed to help you showcase who you are and what matters most to you. Be authentic—let your profile showcase the real you.
02
Dating is most meaningful when done with intention. Be sure to only swipe right on the individuals you’re truly excited to meet in person. Once you match, you’ll have 72 hours to plan the date.
03
Using your and your match’s availability, travel range, and first date preferences, you or your match will send a date request to the other with a specific place and time. The recipient has another 72 hours to confirm or adjust the details—and voila! It’s a date!
Your upcoming dates will be conveniently stored in your in-app calendar, and you can message your match up to 24 hours before the date to finalize plans—like where to meet or letting them know if you’re running a little late.
Our No-Show & Ghosting Policy
At Twyned, we’re all about intentional dating — and that means showing up for the plans you make. When you confirm a date, someone is carving out real time to meet you. Respecting that commitment is a core part of our community.
How It Works
After every date, we ask both people a simple question:
“How did it go?”
If someone reports that their match didn’t show up, here’s what happens:
1. First No-Show:
We’ll issue a gentle warning and remind the user of our community expectations. Sometimes life happens — we get that — but communication matters.
2. Second No-Show:
If it happens again, the user will be removed from Twyned.
Our community is built on trust, respect, and real intention, and repeated no-shows create an unsafe and unfair experience for others.
Why This Matters
We’re here to help people actually meet — not waste time. Holding people accountable ensures a better, safer, and more respectful dating experience for everyone.
A Simple Rule
If you confirm a date, show up.
If something comes up, communicate or cancel ahead of time. It keeps the experience intentional, kind, and genuinely human.
